Female Student Athlete of the Week: Emily Hansen - Women's Soccer

Senior Emily Hansen was instrumental in the women's soccer program picking up their first win of the 2016 campaign. The 2-0 victory came the behest of MAAC rival Saint Peter's down in Jersey City, NJ. Hansen scored her second goal in as many days while also chipping in defensively to help the Gaels in the shutout effort. The scoring strike came from 20 yards out off an assist from junior Julia Campagna.
