Afterwards, he sat down with Mike Damergis to discuss his days with the NY Mets, the '86 NLCS vs the Astros, how he thought it was over in Game 6, pitchers unable to complete baseball games and appreciates the support from Mets' fans. Gooden says he doing well and in good health.
